JONGO BONES AND THE BAREFOOT BANDITS
In October 2021, Jongo Bones and the Barefoot Bandits reached out to me wanting to record a few songs. After watching a set I was strongly onboard. We selected 5 songs to make an EP with. Over 5 Sessions we recorded Drums, Bass, Guitar and Vocals in my studio and had a few mixing sessions working closely with the band to achieve their desired raw, punky hard hitting sound. I also gave guidance in relation to their single releases and filmed, edited and directed the music video their 3rd single “Friendsday”.

Following the release the of the Debut EP & a live EP we got back to work for the second EP. This time my sonic vision was to make the record sound live and energetic by keeping nuances in the tracks, variable tempo changes and some fun soundscape/FX production. We recorded Drums at Forest Range Studios and the Bass, Guitar and Vocals at the home studio. Collaboratively working with the band to ensure that this EP was a step up from the last.
